Services can be held in our spacious chapel with plenty of free parking, at a synagogue or other location, or graveside. Arrangements can be handled anywhere in the country or world. Prearrangements can be made so your wishes can be kept on file. If you choose to prepay, the entire payment is held in escrow and is 100% safe. There is no obligation to prepay.
Joyce E. Torchinsky, the Owner and Managing Funeral Director, is a native Washingtonian. She has worked in Funeral Service since 1991. She completed her Mortuary Science education at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), MD, Catonsville Campus, formerly known as Catonsville Community College. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her Master of Science in Education from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. Ms. Torchinsky taught Mortuary Science classes for twelve years. Her last teaching post was as the Director of the Mortuary Science Program at CCBC Catonsville. She taught Thanatology, Small Business Management, Chemistry and Anatomy. She is fully licensed in Funeral Service in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia and is also a Continuing Education Provider.
