Caring for the deceased and comforting the mourner have always been our number one priority, and now ensuring the safety and well-being of our community is especially critical at this highly emotional time.

Please know Torchinsky Hebrew Funeral Home is always here to support and provide for you during this trying time. We’ve been working around the clock to monitor the situation, while consulting with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and medical experts in the community to make fact-based decisions recommended procedures that conform with the latest understanding of the ongoing pandemic.

At our funeral home, we are working diligently to take precautions and steps to ensure a clean and safe environment. As a standard operating procedure, we regularly disinfect all common areas and equipment.
We encourage your vigilance in following these CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
-Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
-Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
-Avoid touching your face.
-Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects daily. This includes items such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, phones, keyboards, sinks, etc.
